Schedule of Professional Development Workshops

Annually VAN features a variety of programs that converge on allowing Volunteer Administrators to learn from experts among us and those partnering with us. We hope to stimulate new thoughts and growth in the field by providing a rich variety of professional development opportunities in the forms of presentations, round tables, and networking sessions.

We hope you will join us and share your thoughts, questions, and experiences in the field of volunteer administration! Please note the topics and locations below are subject to change. Please check this page regularly for up-to-date information.

Professional Development meetings are included in VAN membership unless an additional cost is noted, Members please LOGIN to RSVP at no cost. Guests are invited to attend one meeting for free and subsequent meetings for $20 each.

April Meeting: CVA Certification 8:30am-10:30am

Description:

Have you heard of it or ever considered obtaining your Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA)? Do you want to learn more about the value to you as a professional, the requirements to take the test, the when and where? Join us April 20th at the VAN monthly meeting to learn all these things and more.  We will also have fellow CVA’s on hand to answer any questions about the certification.
