October Meeting: Strategic Planning

Description:

Stratgic Planning:  Corporate engagement has gone through a major transition, moving from a business of writing checks and attending luncheons into the integration of programmatic support and connectivity of colleague passion and skill sets. Nonprofits and corporations are taking a more thoughtful approach on how to incorporate volunteers into their strategic plans. It is important to understand the role volunteers have in your organization, how does a planned approach to volunteerism fit into your overall strategic plan and what is best way to create a beneficial experience for both your organization and the volunteer. This session will review the role of volunteerism in a strategic plan in order to maximize volunteer engagement.
